my first matcha cookies

Since I discovered matcha from YUMIMATCHA I can't get enough of it. I am actually a really. really bad cook. I can boil an egg and that's about it. but I decided to give it a go and bake some cookies.
I used
1 egg yolk
40 g margarine
110 flour
3 table spoons sugar
1 table spoon matcha
and a bit milk

I mixed the ingredients and wrapped the dough in cling film, stuck it in the freezer for 30 minutes and cut in rather awkward looking egg-shaped pieces.
finally backed them at 170 degrees for 15 minutes.
I know they look bad but are really tasty. I guess I need to practise a bit . xx do you have any matcha recipes?

Yumi matcha

Dear hunnies,

We all know the health benefits of green tea but I stumbled upon this super cool product on instagram.
I copied the content below from their website as I couldn't word is better. :)

Matcha is a green tea powder made from whole leaves of shade-grown tea plants. The plants spend three weeks growing under shade, where the restriction from sunlight stimulates a large increase in chlorophyll and theanine, enriching the leaves with more nutrients. Plus, when you eat or drink matcha, you're consuming the whole leaves, not just leaf extracts like in a regular cup of green tea. All of this means that just one serving of matcha has the nutritional benefits of up to 10 cups of regular green tea!
Matcha has more antioxidants than goji berries, dark chocolate, pomegranate, blueberries and acai berries combined! It increases your metabolism so you burn fat faster and it provides a long-lasting energy boost that will keep you going throughout the day.

Coconut oil orange body scrub

Hey lovelies I ran out of body scrub. I usually exfoliate before putting fake tan on. And since I am very into healthy natural stuff lately I decided to make a home made coconut oil orange brown sugar body scrub.
I bought a little jar in therange and just mixed brown sugar with some coconut oil and orange zest. It works wonderful. However I don't really think coconut goes with orange. I also don't like chocolate with mint BTW. So next time I try something else . Xx
